In June of last year, we decided we needed to expand a little bit, and offer more than just butter tarts. So we now offer frozen foods (chicken, meatballs, vegetables, potatoes, etc.), as well as Saucy Dotty's sauces, Gourmet Village rubs, dips, hot chocolates, The Pie Commission meat and veggie pies, Kia Ora Pies (New Zealand based pies from Peterborough), Jam, jellies, pickles and preserves from The Harvest Brinery in Napanee, and a whole bunch more.
Come in and see what we've done with the place.
We offer amazing homemade, fresh every day buttertarts, made with 100% Gay Lea Butter.
We love what we do, which is making mouth-watering tarts we can be proud of. Every day, we receive compliments about our product, so we must be doing something right.
On a normal day we make anywhere from 1500-1700 tarts. From making and rolling out the pastry, all the way to putting labels on the tarts as they are being readied for deli

John and I are proud of what we've created here, but our proudest accomplishment is that by summer, we usually have upwards of 8 employees. It's definitely a going concern, but we honestly love what we do.

KATY HB,
Hi there,
I just wanted to give a compliment to Paradise Tarts. I tried my first ever salted caramel tart today and it was absolutely delicious.
I have a tradition of baking tarts with my grandma in the fall each year. I’ve never found a tart that was as good as her secret recipe.. until today when I bit into a Paradise Tart.
Keep up the great work, I look forward to trying the other flavours!

I am a big fan, have been for several years. I buy them at Foxboro Foodland, and I just wanted you to know, in this time of restrictions, that you are appreciated. Paradise Tarts stands head and shoulders above every other local butter tart I’ve tried (and I’ve tried many, including R*&%$’s, the bakery between Port Hope and Cobourg, and other area bakeries.) The crust is perfect, the filling is the right amount of gooiness and firmness, and I’m sure the flavours are all good even though I tend to stick to a few classics.
I made it a personal quest to find the best butter tart, and you are IT. (Can you tell I just ate a Skor butter tart, which inspired me to write this?)
I really hope your business survives this downturn. I want to send you good wishes for success.

Hi there, we went to Campbell's Orchards yesterday and picked up some plain butter tarts. Oh lawd, they were incredible! We’ve never tasted anything like it. Perfect amount gooey filling, a tiny bit of crunch on the top and I don’t even know where to begin with the incredible crust. It’s the MOST perfect crust! Anyhoo, we went back to Campbell’s orchard today and bought 8 more for our ride back to Toronto. Sadly, we realized it wasn’t enough so I’m hoping you can tell me if you sell your tarts in Toronto or somewhere close to Toronto? Please say you do. PLEASE!?!
